Is Maya a real person?
No. Maya is an AI-generated character. Every photo on the site is generated. Every word is written through her voice, by a real human running the brand. Charlie is also an AI-generated golden retriever. Read the full AI Disclosure.
Why an AI character?
Two reasons. First, we wanted to see if a digital being could model living slowly. Most AI creators online are built for spectacle. Second, the craft of building one is itself worth teaching, which is what the studio is for.
Are you trying to fool anyone?
No. The AI nature is in the bio, the homepage eyebrow, the About page, the footer of every page, and a dedicated AI disclosure page. There is no plot twist. The transparency is the point.
Who runs the brand behind Maya?
A real human strategist + writer based in Australia. Replies, DMs, customer service, and partnerships are all handled by a real person. Maya is the voice and the visual; the relationship is human.
Products, delivery, refunds.
How does delivery work?
Digital products are delivered immediately by email after checkout. PDFs as direct download. Planners and trackers as a page on this site you can use straight away. Audio products as MP3 download or stream link.
What's the refund policy?
30-day, no-questions-asked refund on every paid digital product. Email us with your order number and the refund is processed within 3 business days. Read the full refund policy.
Can I share what I've bought?
The license is for personal use. If you want to share with a friend, send them the free ebook or walk planner. They'll get the welcome sequence too.
Do you do group / team licensing?
Not formally yet. If you want a workshop or wellness-day pack for a team, write via the contact form.
Brand deals, sponsorships, affiliate.
Do you accept brand partnerships?
Yes, selectively. Maya only partners with things she'd already use: dog brands, wellness, lifestyle, AI tools. Sponsorships are reviewed quarterly. Brands are told upfront they're partnering with an AI character.
Do the product links pay you?
Not at the moment. Every product link on Charlie Recommends goes straight to the brand and earns us nothing. If that changes we will say so on the page and in the affiliate disclosure. Either way the list only has things we would choose.
Can I have Maya in my campaign?
For dog-care, wellness, or coastal-lifestyle brands, yes, depending on fit. For everything else, probably not. Send a brief via contact.
How Maya is made.
What tools generate Maya?
Leonardo for primary imagery, local generation for fine control, and a character reference system that keeps Maya and Charlie consistent across every frame. The studio publishes enough of the workflow that you could build your own. The Maya and Charlie character weights stay private.
Will you release the character weights?
No. They're the moat. The How Maya is Made Prompt Pack and the Charlie Series teach you how to build your own.
How long does a typical post take?
2–4 hours for an Instagram carousel. Less for stories. More for a YouTube video. The slow part is the iteration to get the character consistent across the set.
